Howdy friends!

How was your Tuesday?

Last night I thought we might get a few inches of snow here in Denver, but when I awoke this morning, there was none to be found. I don’t mind snow, but I enjoy it more once December rolls around. It really gets me in the Christmas spirit.

Now instead of ice covered roads for the next two days, we get a week of sunshine! Sa-weet. This is why living in Denver during the winter isn’t all that bad.

Hi 58 °F

Since we didn’t have any snow, I decided to bust out my favorite boots for my work outfit today. I snagged these last year at Uncle Nordies, and they were not cheap.

I knew if I wanted a cute, comfortable pair of boots that would last more than five years, I would have to buck up the cash. But let me tell you, they are worth every single penny! Frye makes a fierce boot. They are comfortable and mold to your feet perfectly.

These should be on your Christmas list. I promise you won’t be disappointed!

And since we are on the topic of fashion, have you checked out www.polyvore.com lately?

After work I decided to go for a run.

I have had a serious running itch lately. Not quite sure why because it’s freaking freezing outside.

But I will say the view wasn’t to shabby this afternoon in the park.

I stopped by Whole Foods after my run, and hit up the hot bar. Is it wrong to say that this is one of my highlights of the work week? All the food smells amazing, and when I don’t feel like cooking or want to order take out, this is the best deal in town.
In the mix:
– spanish rice
– pinto beans
– vegetarian burrito
– 1/3 cup of tortilla chips (a.k.a crack chips)
– toppings: sour cream, red onion, and jalapenos
Dinner is served!
Boot camp tonight was butt-busting as usual.
Squats + Lunges + Leg Presses + Leg Extensions = One Sore Tookus!
Even though I complain all the time about how much I hate lifting weights and that I am complete wuss, I can definitely tell my legs are stronger. I will give myself a HIGH FIVE for that!
Alright, I am off to catch up on some reading.
Have a good nite!
Thankful Challenge: Day 8
Today I am thankful for my feet because without them, I wouldn’t be able to wear fierce boots and run!
