Mad Men was very entertaining last night.

Roger Sterling’s one-liners slay me every time. Pete Campbell is still a huge bag of douche. And Don Draper, well let’s just say that I don’t see his new wife sticking around for much longer. She’s got a touch of the crazy if ya know what I’m sayin’?
If you haven’t seen the show, it’s definitely worth spending an entire Saturday on the couch watching the last four seasons on Netflix while sipping gin martini’s. Or Jack and gingers. I won’t tell.
As I mentioned last night, Mr. B is back home after being in Wyoming these past three days. If you break it down, he has basically been away from home for a month. And guess what? It is still March, people. That my friends is a BIG bowl of crazy bananas!
I guess it’s a good thing that we had ‘normal’ bananas today for breakfast. {Insert comedian Jim Gaffigan’s voice: “Why does she keep talking about bananas? That’s weird.”}
The breakfast smoothie dojour: Blueberry
I love this breakfast. Simple, fresh, and filling. Mr. B’s eyes lit up like a Christmas tree when I handed him his smoothie bowl. Poor guy has zero options for fresh, organic food where he travels. God did not put oil and gas fields in the most economical places.

I don’t know about you, but I was exhausted all day at work. I was this close to reaching into the desk drawer for some scotch tape to keep the ol’ eyeballs open. To be honest, I really think I’m tired (no not preggers) because it’s freaking ridicioulsy nice outside. My body is telling me, “Lauren, go outside and play. Run around. Get dirty. Bask in the sunlight.”

Well, the body gets what the body wants because after work I jogged around Wash Park. This was not the best run of my life.  In fact, I only made it three miles becuase my legs felt like cement. Darn you body pump!

Eh, what can you do? I just made the best of it and took a bazillion pictures of all the blooms. I heart spring fo’ sure.

With all of this nice weather (okay, minus the fact that there are major wildfires going on in Colorado at the moment and downtown smells like a giant bonfire) not only do I want to be outside, but homegirl did not feel like cooking tonight.

Hmmm…..what to do?

I know.

Chipotle.

Word.

I always go with the burrito bowl. Sometimes I get a wild hair and order 3 crunchy tacos…so wild.

In the bowl mix:
– brown rice (ahhhh…..yeahhhhh.)
– black beans
– fajita stuff
– chicken
– pico and green salsa
– cheese
– lettuce
– and….gucamole, FTW.

And a little mocktail on the side.

Happy hump day friends!
