Food, family, and friends. A few of my favorite things that make for a great Wildcat Saturday. It was Homecoming all week in the Little Apple, and the Cats were set to take on the Oklahoma State Pokes. Kickoff was 11am. I forgot how fast morning games approach after a night of gluttony. Not having the body of an eighteen year old makes the next day recovery rather difficult…

Anyways, the morning started out in the usual Grier fashion with a pre-tailgate/photo shoot at Evan and Andrea’s.

Next, to the stadium! The Grier family lot was full of buzz. Warm chili, decadent prime rib sandwiches, and cold beer made for a perfect tailgate.
The Cat’s gave it their best effort but unfortunately fell short.

Final Score: OSU 24, Cats 14
After the game we headed to Harry’s for dinner and drinks. A glass of merlot and a Kobe beef burger with foie gras butter later, and today’s loss began to dwindle.
