This morning was B-U-S-Y.

From eating breakfast to watching an unusual man cut down a dead tree to blogging to surviving a brutal interval run, it was enough to make me go crazy before noon!

what would i do without an egg sandwich for breakfast?

no shirt = faster work

grossly sweaty.

Not to worry.

As soon as lunch was over, the kids headed out on the boat. First we stopped at the Marina to grab some treats and fill the boat up with gas.

marina’s are great for people watching.

is red my color?

what’s up bro?

Then we cruised over to the Shell Knob bridge.

Isn’t the bridge sa-weet?

ozarks seventh wonder of the world.

Sadly, the rope we were planning to swing from was stuck behind one of the bridge beams. Who does such a thing? Geesh. Oh well, on to plan B. Point 25 is another hot spot on the lake. You can jump off cliffs, swim, drink beer, and lounge. Basically, it’s a party cove with cliffs.

wait. where’s the party?

Jordan, John, and Kitty jumped off the short cliff, while Mr. B and I watched the boat. It felt great to relax in the water and chill out. Plus, it was freaking hot out. The heat index for the day was 110. On the boat ride back to the house I could feel the hot air blowing against my face. Gross.

Once we arrived back home, we had a few snacks because dinner was going to be late. We had one last boat run to complete before sunset. Tear. Where did the time go?

I went first. I am not the best Solomon skier on the planet, but I’ll give myself credit for getting up.

happy place.

Jordan was up next.
My little brother is amazing on a wakeboard. I swear it’s a gift for being the third child or something because he has always been wicked good at every sport.
Jealous? You bet!
wicked air.
collage of awesomeness.

After Jordan threw down his sweet jumps, we dropped him off at the dock to go and grab pizza for dinner.
Mr. B, my dad, and John finished up the last couple of runs.
sick.

i love this picture of my dad. beautiful.

juan.
Once everyone was done, we cruised for a little bit and watched the sunset. Today was a fantastic day, and the perfect way to end our vacation.
gorgeous.
love ya dad.

love ya moomers.

love ya mr. pups.

We were starving when we got back to the house.

PIZZA!

cheese sticks are the best!
As a little girl we would always order pizza from Pizza Hut on Saturday night. It has been a loooooong time since I have actually eaten Pizza Hut pizza, but it still tasted the same. Hmmm…somethings will never change.
Tomorrow we head out early. I am sad to be leaving because this really has been a great vacation.
See ya!
