I woke up this morning feeling a little bit better.

My legs, feet, and head weren’t throbbing (praise the lord), but my throat still wasn’t a 100%. I think another night or two of good sleep will shoo this head cold away. Keep your fingers crossed.

Since I have been using ZICAM the past two days, my taste buds have been all jacked up. Nothing looks or tastes good so I decided to keep it simple for breakfast.

Oats + Blueberries = Safe/Yummy Breakfast

Oh yeah, and coffee…duh!
I seriously could not imagine life without coffee. Am I right? What I don’t understand is how people who drink tea say it has the same effect as a regular cup of joe. Are ya kidding me? There’s no way.
Anyways, I was a mess getting ready for work this morning. We still haven’t fixed our closet light so doing laundry and finding particular clothing items has become a challenge.
Case in point:
Todays outfit was a “make it work” moment. I had an idea in my head of what I wanted to wear and knew where the top, bottom, and wrap were located in the closet, but not the shoes. For the life of me I couldn’t find my brown, suede Mary Jane pumps! OH THE HORROR! I searched around in the dark and grabbed the first pair of pumps I thought might work. The winner: nude pumps.
Ooops.
This outfit isn’t a total Betty, but at least I wasn’t strolling in wearing Birkenstocks (maybe next time. do people even wear those anymore? ).
Brown Top: Gap
Khaki Pants: Banana Republic
Brown Wrap: Uncle Nordies
Nude Pumps: Steve Madden
Pearls: Gift
Work today was productive.
Once the end of third quarter is in sight people start to care more about the market and their finances. It’s like the light the bulb goes off in their head…”Oh yeah, what about my monies?” “Did I save enough this year?….and so on, and so on.
After work, I ran a couple of errands. But when I arrived home, the stupid lady next to our new parking spot was hogging some major real estate. I had to park basically next to the wall, crawl over to the passenger side, and then get out of the car. Why is parking so hard for some people? Geesh.
I had boot camp tonight and wasn’t feeling particularly hungry (effing ZICAM) so I snacked on a nectarine. Wait. A peach. Shoot. I forget which one is which. Eh, whatevs. It was juicy and delicious.
Jennifer had us doing a power workout, which last Tuesday I would have been all…”Yeah, let’s rock this!” But not tonight. My legs were still a little soar and jumping onto a platform, and then doing a push up was not my idea fun. Even though I was physically exhausted and sweaty, I always feel better when I finish her training session. She is so damn good.
Ooohhh….which reminds me. What do you think of this workout outfit?
I got the top from Target over Labor Day in Wichita and haven’t worn it yet. Don’t ask me why? It’s like my new clothes have to go through some kind of waiting period before I wear them or something.
Yeah, weird.
Anyways, I thought the top might make me look super prego, but in fact it was very comfortable and light weight. I give this tank a 10!
Alright, enough of my jibber jabber and narcissistic picture taking. I hope you had a great Tuesday!
Glee is calling my name.
See ya!
