Mun-day.

Wait.

When did you get here?

Geez.

Oh, don’t look at me like that.

Seriously.

I’m not trying to be mean, but I don’t feel 100% today. Can ya feel me?

Cool. I’m glad that we could work that out.

As I mentioned yesterday, I woke up with a sore throat. I immediately thought it was just a side effect caused by running on a dusty trail at high elevation, but I was wrong. This morning I woke up with the same symptoms as yesterday so now I think I just have a real cold.

Rigitty-Rats.

I started using ZICAM again, which is keeping my throat from throbbing. But I’m telling you, having a cold while your feet and legs ache, es no bueno.

Good thing I am done with training for awhile because I can honestly say that my mind and body need a break. I am still going to continue with boot camp because Jennifer rocks and I love spending time with the girls. I just won’t be running ten miles and then lifting weights for an hour afterwards (who does that?).

Other than the throbbing and aches, today was pretty chill.

Although, I am pretty sure the weather missed that memo. Temperatures this week are supposed to be around eighty degrees every day so no cute sweaters for me just yet. Bummer.

With high temps still hanging around, I had to resort to another oxford for todays outfit.

Top: Express
Pants: Express
Belt: Ralph Lauren
Pumps: Steve Madden

I don’t mind wearing oxfords in summer because they are the perfect option to keep warm in a freezing office without having to pile on the layers.

But once the cool weather is here to stay…BAM! Long sweaters, scarfs, and boots, here I come!

After work, I came home and rested with my lovie. Oh yeah, I have a lovie. Don’t you? I’m telling ya it’s all the rage. I have had this pillow since high school (don’t worry I wash it) and the pillowcase, I am pretty sure is from my parent’s original 1980’s collection.

I remember when Mr. B and I first moved in together he didn’t fully appreciate my lovie. But now sometimes in the middle of the night I find him cuddling with it. Hysterical.

Dinner was an after thought tonight since I didn’t have much of an appetite. I threw some wieners on the grill and heated up some sauerkraut to make the hubby happy.
Do all men love sauerkraut? Geesh. Mr. B could eat this stuff by the spoonful.
Anyways, dinner took less than 10 minutes and clean up was easy.
I am off to finally watch the new series premiere of Pan Am. Can’t wait!
Have a fantastic evening!
