Happy Tuesday friends!

How was your day?

Things were pretty peachy around our neck of woods today.

I don’t know what the weather has been like where you live, but it feels like early fall around here. Temperatures have been hovering anywhere between 55 to 65 degrees. And since living in Denver you feel like an ant under a magnifying glass with being so close to the sun, it darn near feels like 70 degrees!

I’m not complaining, but it’s hard to get motivated to make Christmas cookies or gingerbread houses when you could walk outside in a bathing suit. Am I right? Right.

Oh, and speaking of gingerbread houses….I forgot to share this sweet picture with you from our turkey week travels. Gabe and Grayson are quite the artists. They built this snazzy gingerbread house, and if I do say so myself, it’s sheer genius. How cute is the gummy bear entrance? Love.

I loved making gingerbread houses as a kid. Well, that’s not entirely true. I enjoyed making the frosting and eating all the decorations more than actually constructing something that resembled a “house.” You can’t blame a girl…frosting can make you do crazy things!

You know what? I just thought of a brilliant idea. Wouldn’t it be fun, and hysterical, to have a gingerbread house making party? With booze, of course. You could do themed houses, have signature drinks, and appetizers? No? Yes? Oh come on, it could be fun!

Besides dreaming of sugar plums and how much frosting it would take for a ten person gingerbread making party, I did manage to squeeze in a couple of pictures of my new wrap from BCBG. When Susie, Jessica, and I were shopping on Saturday, we came across their 50% off sale.

I found this taupe wrap that was super fun. It’s short in the back and can be worn many different ways.

As I was trying the wrap on, I didn’t understand what the heck to do with it at first. But then Jessica and I found the instructions on the tag. You can throw it over one shoulder, tie it in the front, and even wear it…. backwards? That probably won’t be happening.
I am probably not wearing it right in the picture below, but you get the point.

Wrap: BCBG
Gray top: Gap
Jeggings: Gap
Boots: Frye
Gold Jewelry: Dillards

I rounded out my peachy day with a….

run in Wash Park,

followed by a little Christmas decorating,

and for the main event, I made this for dinner!

Mr. B and I still catching up on the DVR. Tonight, #Dexter. I have a feeling that the true doomsday killer is going to be reveled. Muahhahaha.

See ya!

Thankful Challenge: Day 29

Today I am thankful for sparkly accessories because they can take an outfit from drab to fab!
