Deathly Hallow Charcuterie Board is a festive and delicious way to get into the Halloween spirit!

Two days.

I’m ghoulishly excited.

This will be our first Halloween with Juniper at the new home! In case you are wondering if we are dressing up, we will be in full attire. You guys are going to flip. I will reveal more on Wednesday, but let’s just say it’s going to be a ‘sweating’ good time.

My plan for Halloween is to have the Denver village over and make a big batch of chili. I highly recommend making my ultimate lamb chili if you are in need of good recipe. You can certainly sub in ground beef, turkey or chicken! Also, included in the spread are all the toppings – Fritos, cornbread, jalapenos, and cheese! What are your favorite toppings?

BUT! The piece de resistance for Halloween is this Deathly Hallow Charcuterie Board. I might have to give myself a high-five for this one! Seriously, isn’t it so festive? The rats were my inspiration behind the whole spread. With cobwebs as a base and the RIP brie coffin I was hooked.

The board itself comes together quickly. I kept it simple and used three kinds of cheese and meat. Fill in with color by using red pears, figs, permissions, black grapes and pomegranates. Just don’t forget the spiders for a ghoulish effect!

Alright, off to use the hot glue for Junipers costume. Stay tuned!!

Deathly Hallow Charcuterie Board

Ingredients:

  • Three varieties hard salami
  • Parmesan
  • Brie
  • Blue Cheese
  • Olives
  • Black Grapes
  • Red pear
  • Figs
  • Pomegranates
  • Almonds
  • Assortment of crackers

Directions:

  1. To assemble the board, start by making large piles of food that you would want to eat together like salami, blue cheese, and a cracker. From there start to fill in the space with grapes, nuts, fruit, etc.
  2. Serve and enjoy!
