Vanilla Superfruit Protein Smoothie

Yes, you do.

Put your stink-eye away for two seconds.

This one is different. The smoothie that is. In fact, I don’t know how I didn’t come up with this version sooner. I have a sneaky suspicion that it has something to do with the Berry bandwagon that everyone is on.

Vanilla Superfruit Protein Smoothie

Don’t get me wrong I love a good strawberry, blueberry, blackberry, or raspberry smoothie. I turn one of these flavors into a smoothie every morning. BUT! Have you ever tried frozen cherries? Or kiwis in your smoothies? Kind of an odd couple and something I was a little unsure about combining, but it WORKS.

The cherries give the smoothie this deep purple hue while the kiwi provides a natural sweetness. Sprinkle in some flaxseed meal and a little peanut butter if you are feeling frisky. But whatever you do don’t forget to add a scoop of Vanilla Protein Powder Nutritional Booster from Bob’s Red Mill.

This protein powder is full of fiber and probiotics. Made with pea protein, chicory root, chia seeds, and monk fruit extract. Also, it’s Gluten Free and the vanilla flavoring adds a touch of luxuriousness. Oh! And if you are someone looking for a sans banana smoothie this will be your go-to!

So, what do you say? Browse past the berry section and give some love to cherries and kiwis. I promise it will become a new staple in your smoothie-making rotation!
