More snow in the city today.
I’m starting to think Old Man Winter missed the memo from Mother Earth about snowing the entire ski season. Apparently the memo must have slid under Old Man Winter’s car seat because the mountains have gotten zero snow and Denver has seen over 2 feet in a day!

The only good thing about the snowfall today was it finally gave me an excuse to wear this gray BCBG sweater that has been marinating in my closet since Thanksgiving! Ooops. Don’t you hate it when happens?
I do recall being concerned when I tried on the sweater that the front would make me look a little douche-y. You know, draw a little too much attention to the girls. I dunno know. What do you think? The good news about this sweater is that it’s not bulky and it doesn’t make your skin itch!

Per my usual routine I was going to try and run after work, but the cold weather got to me. Instead of shivering and piling on layers of clothing, I decided to treat myself to early birthday gift.
Hello, waffle maker!
I have been debating on whether or not to get this bad boy for a long time. I used to eat Kellogg’s frozen waffles all the time as little girl, but once I entered high school and realized butter and syrup weren’t exactly the best thing for the figure, I stopped eating them entirely.
Since waffle making has gotten an upgrade via appliances and batter options, I decided it was time to get in touch with my childhood glory days. Plus, who wouldn’t want a giant stack of waffles, drizzled in syrup and topped with a fried egg for brunch? I rest my case.
Sadly, I did not bust out the waffle maker for dinner tonight. I know, I know. Note to self: any future food appliance purchases must be done before you grocery shop for the week.
With waffles slated for this weekend, I made the next best thing –
TACOS! There’s no BS about these tacos. Straight up beef with all the fixings.
– Cheese, Avocado, Sour Cream, Jalapenos, Shredded Lettuce, Peppers, Onions
Is there really anything better than Taco Tuesday? I think not!
Off to watch the #Kstate Men’s basketball take on the Texas Red Raiders. Is it weird to think that in a month it will be time for March Madness? Yeah, that’s weird. Someone please tell time to sloooooow down. K? Thanks.
