Morning Mule Cocktail
Morning Mule Cocktail is the perfect drink! A combination of a mimosa and Moscow mule this refreshing cocktail can be served morning, noon, or night!
Can you feel it?
Spring is in the air!! GAH! I’m so excited because our peach tree has the most beautiful blooms bursting right now. I think I have taken at least 248 photos in the past 48 hours (you’d think I was entering the tree into a beauty pageant). Keep your fingers crossed that no major snowstorms head our way. Although, I feel that’s wishful thinking at this moment. Sighhhhhh.
Now, that it’s officially spring, I am motivated to start working in the yard. Last weekend Mr. B and I sucked out all the dead leaves in our front yard berm with a shop-vac. I was skeptical at first if it would work, but it did! Minus a few odd looks from the neighbors we now have a beautiful, dead leaf free front yard.
Next on the list is assembling and organizing our garden beds. IF YOU HAVE ANY TIPS in the this area, please send them our way. I want to keep it fairly simple because we have a bunch of travel this summer and I don’t want to come home to a Little Shop of Horror style backyard, ya feel me? I’m thinking lots of herbs, lettuce, maybe zucchini, stuff like that.
Oh shoot! I probably should talk about today’s recipe and quit boring you with my black thumb garden talk. Since we are in the middle of the week, I figured we needed something to set our eye on the brunch prize. Because in my world, Wednesday is basically the start of the weekend.
This Morning Mule Cocktail is my new go-to! If a mimosa and Moscow mule had a baby this would be it! Fresh ginger beer, vodka, and orange juice mixed together make for a refreshing cocktail morning, noon, or night. Also, if you are feeling naughty, this cocktail would be great serve as bottomless option for a brunch gathering or roof top action! Can you tell that I’ve had cabin fever?!
Alright, let’s cheers to spring and the start to long, warm days!
